Content

  • The content of the MOREOB Program is divided into modules focusing on education, reflective learning and working together, changing the model of care, and maintaining the change.

Length

  • The MOREOB Program is implemented within a hospital setting over a three-year cycle.

  • The APHP is facilitating the implementation of the MOREOB Program in Alberta among the health regions, Alberta Health and Wellness, and the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada.
  • It is the responsibility of each health region to decide which facilities will participate in MOREOB.

 Registration

  • Health regions work through the APHP to arrange participation in MOREOB.

Costs

  • Alberta Health and Wellness has provided funding for managing obstetrical risk in Alberta, including payment of tuition for seats in the MOREOB Program.
  • Health Regions are responsible for others costs incurred in implementing the MOREOB Program.
